Cycling in North Limburg

North Limburg is a great place for cycling, the nature is diverse: from green forests, deep purple heaths to the landscape of the Peel or the Maas. There are two national parks in the vicinity of Asteria: De Maasduinen and De Groote Peel, where beautiful cycling routes are laid out. The landscape in the area is not only beautiful, but also quite flat. Perfect for a day out on the bike.

Venlo city center

Venlo is a city in northern Limburg located on a bend of the river Maas. The city has a long history which is shown in the characteristic downtown. The city still has the old street structure of the Middle Ages, with a town hall from the 15th century and winding streets that connect the various squares. With the many nice stores, studios and delicious restaurants you will not get bored here easily.

The Maasboulevard is a new part of the center and is the place for all ages, with the beautiful floodplain in summer and a cozy shopping street in winter. The Maasboulevard is modern and provides a wide range of stores and various restaurants. The new meeting place of Venlo!

In the Outlet Center Roermond almost all wellknown brands sell their clothing, bags, jewelry and much more at very affordable rates. All 150 shops combined have en extensive assortment, you will find something for everyone! The outlet center is located at the edge of the city center of Roermond. This makes it easy to visit the old town of Roermond on foot. In the historic city centre, you will find department stores and chain stores as well as lovely little boutiques and specialty stores.
